Lately I've been bouncing between Multiplayer and War Zone in Black Ops 7, mostly chasing that up-close chaos where an SMG either saves you or gets you deleted. The Razer 9mm with the Wildfire conversion is the first setup in a while that's made me genuinely change how I take fights. If MP lobbies start feeling rough, swap over to Rebirth Casual and knock out the annoying stuff there—shotgun eliminations, streak-related tasks, that kind of grind. Once you've got Wildfire on, you'll notice the fire rate jump right away, and the bullet velocity helps more than you'd think in those "he's one shot" moments. The trade-off is real though: ADS and reload feel a bit heavier, so you can't play it like a stock laser-beam SMG.

This build works because it patches the Wildfire downsides without killing the whole point of the kit. Start with the EMT3 Agile Laser—your aim settles faster, and in tight rooms that matters more than fancy stats. Add the Talos Pad Stock so you keep that quick SMG movement when you're shouldering corners or bailing out of a bad push. For the rear grip, I run the Micro Dot Recovery Grip because sprint-to-fire timing is where most gunfights get decided in BO7. Then cap it off with the Lateral Precision Grip; horizontal bounce is what makes this thing feel "off" at first, and that grip pulls it back into line.

You've got to be the one starting fights. Sitting back turns the Wildfire kit into a liability, because the slower handling will punish you when someone swings first. Use it for break-ins: crash a Hardpoint hill, clear stairs, snap onto the second guy. You'll also want to treat ammo like a resource, not a given—this gun chews through magazines fast, especially when you're tracking someone through a slide. Reload early when you can, and don't be scared to disengage for half a second if you know you'll need a full mag for the next doorway.

If you're chasing the kit and trying to keep your sessions fun, it helps to plan your challenge progress and your testing time instead of doing everything in sweaty public matches.
