If you want to see every car, track marker, and object pop in Forza Horizon 6, High Contrast Mode is your best friend. This accessibility feature makes key elements stand out against the background, helping you spot things faster while racing or exploring Japan’s open world. Here’s how to turn it on and tweak it to your liking.
Turning On High Contrast Mode in FH6
Open the Menu
Press the Menu button (the three horizontal lines) on your controller to bring up the main menu.
Go to Settings
Navigate to the Settings tab.
Select Accessibility
On the left sidebar, choose Accessibility.
Toggle High Contrast Mode
Scroll down to High Contrast Mode and switch it On.
Customizing High Contrast
Forza Horizon 6 gives you more control than ever over how this mode looks:
Object Colors: Assign different colors to your player car, Drivatars, or other objects. You can even choose colors that work best for your eyes.
Outline vs. Fill: Decide whether to color the entire object or just highlight its outline for a cleaner, less busy look.
Background Desaturation: Adjust how much the rest of the world fades to grayscale. A higher fade makes your highlighted objects really pop.
System-Wide High Contrast on Xbox
If you want a consistent high-contrast look across all games, menus, and the Xbox dashboard:
Go to Profile & system → Settings → Accessibility → High contrast.
Choose between Dark or Light themes for system-wide visibility.
